One pot donabe dish...Snapper and Broccolini Rice

Here's my recent hit among mixed rice dishes.
My donabe rice cooker, "Kamado-san" makes wonderful "one-pot" rice dish which can easily be a main course itself.

I cooked the rice and snapper filets together with the light broth (dashi stock, sake, and soy sauce). After 15 minutes over medium+ heat, I could smell the wonderful aroma from the donabe. The rice was ready.

Then, I tossed the snapper rice with some lightly-marinated blanched broccolini. The rice was garnished with some thinly-sliced ginger.

I could enjoy the different textures in this dish (fluffy fish, nicely chewy rice, and lightly-crunchy broccolini) with the complete flavors. It was really beautiful...I had two large bowls of it!

You can find the recipe on toiro's website. So, please check it out.

Happy donabe life.
