(Day 3)
Our final tasting of the day was at Domaine Pavelot in Savigny-les-Beaune.
Since the family was on vacation to South France, their son, Pierre-Eve, hosted our tasting. He seemed so young and so charming!

2002 Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru, "Les Vergelesses"...2009 has become its last vintage, as the vineyard was given to another member of family
2010 Savigny-les-Beaune (blanc)...from 2 different parcels. Little Pinot Blanc was added
Although 2010 samples tended to be a little "shocked" since the wines were just racked recently, I could still tell how steady their wine quality is and 2010 wines will be very fine. Very nice tasting, and the last Savigny blanc made me hungry for dinner.
