It was already our 3rd day in Paia, Maui, and it was the big day...the wedding was going to take place in the early evening.
The nice thing about staying in Paia is that shops and restaurants are all within the walking-distance within 2 blocks from the hotel in each direction. And, most of them are unique individual kinds. On the wedding day, we had a quick lunch at Cafe Des Amis, which is an artsy Mediterranean-style bistro. The place is popular for the crepe and curry dishes.
We shared a Mediterranean platter for appetizer.
Main dish was the Mahi Mahi Curry. It was a huge dish! The fish was cooked right and the quality was very nice. The sauce was rich and had the nice complex flavor of different spices.
