Final lunch at Chaya Downtown

It had been a week since my family came to visit me in LA, and they were already going back to Tokyo in the afternoon last Monday.

Before going to the airport, we had lunch at Chaya Downtown. I always enjoy the experiences at this location. I like this place, because I can tell they always care so much about the ingredients and I can taste the quality. Today's Heirloom Gazpacho with Ricotta was nice and refreshing.

Soft Shell Crab Tempura Roll and Negi-toro cut roll.

Today's "Bento" was very nice, too! Chinese chicken salad, spicy tuna roll, rock shrimp cake, and rib-eye steak. The meat was nicely medium-rare and so tender.

Ice cream and chocolate croissant bread pudding.
Really lovely lunch.

After lunch, I took them to LAX and saw them off. I miss them again!
